Rubbish collection
Household waste is collected by the municipal enterprise Taza Shaar on fixed days in each district. Put bags out on the morning of collection, not the night before (dogs).
Bulky items (furniture, building rubble, old appliances) are collected on the first Saturday of the month. Book by 1-09 by Thursday. Building rubble from repairs is paid: 15 som a cubic metre.
Rules
- Do not burn rubbish or leaves in yards or streets. Fine 20 som.
- Containers are for household waste only. Traders and offices need a contract with Taza Shaar.
- Report overflowing containers or a missed collection on 1-09 or with the photo button in Tulpar (Services → City Hall).
