The Mayor

Erkin Asanbaev has been Mayor of Talas since 2015 (appointed by the Governor). Born in Talas in 1967, he studied architecture at the Frunze Polytechnic Institute (1989) and worked in the city's architecture and planning department from 1990: head of land and building permits 2003-2010, deputy mayor for construction 2010-2015. He led the Liberty Boulevard redevelopment of 2016-2019.

Address certificates, certificates of residence and housing documents are issued at the City Hall service hall (ground floor) and, for e-Irad card holders, through e-Irad. Bring your passport. Most certificates are ready in 3 working days; the fee is 2 som.
